Book Discounts & Postage Information

Prices, discounts and postage amounts are automatically calculated when you place your order. However if you are ordering 12 or more copies of 'Life as an Australian Horseman' or 'A Million Acre Masterpiece', please contact me for a quote as a further discount may apply.

Books are cheaper if more than one is ordered at a time:

These discounts are automatically deducted when you order online. For example:

1 book is $63.00 plus $6.30 GST if posted to an Australian address (total - $69.30)

2 or more books:

$11.00 is deducted from the total order ($10.00 if GST exempt).

4 or more books:

$33.00 is deducted from the total order ($30.00 if GST exempt).

6 or more books:

$55.00 is deducted from the total order ($50.00 if GST exempt).

12 copies of 'Life as an Australian Horseman' & 14 copies of 'A Million Acre Masterpiece' is a full box.

How much does postage cost?

Australian delivery, orders for 4 or less books, by Express Post:

Book postage is free (greeting card postage is also free).

 

International delivery, by Standard Airmail (GST exempt):

The International Postage Rates are automatically calculated by the website when you place your order, using Australia Post's standard zones. The postage I charge is usually lower than the over-the-counter rate charged by Australia Post, and there is no charge for packing.  However please note that if your order is to be split and sent to more than one address overseas, additional postage may be required.  If this is the case you will be contacted before your order is dispatched.

If you require a special airmail service (eg faster or tracked delivery), please ask for a quote. Overseas greeting card postage is free when they are ordered with books.  Please refer to Book & Card Frequently Asked Questions for overseas delivery times & other vital overseas order-related information. 

• Zone A - New Zealand: $13.00 postage per book.
• Zone B - Asia/Pacific: $19.00 postage per book.
• Zone C - USA, Canada, Middle East: $25.00 postage per book.
• Zone D - Rest of the world (UK, Europe, Africa, South America): $33.00 postage per book.

Cost of Sending 4 or More Books Overseas, to the Same Address:

Postage of four or more books to one overseas address is sometimes cheaper than sending singly (it depends on the weight range the packed parcels falls into).

I can give you a quote for any discount available beforehand however please allow several days if you require a quote, especially during peak order times, because I have to check in person with Australia Post.  To save time and get your order in the mail to you more quickly, I can refund your credit card with any postage saving received, after you have placed your order and it has been mailed.

How long does delivery take?

Please refer to Book & Card Frequently Asked Questions for details of delivery times and other information.  As explained in more detail on the Book & Card F.A.Q. page, please note that there can be significant customs clearance delivery delays (eg. 6-8 weeks) in some countries.
