I haven&#8217;t seen any mention in the media of the affect on the environment, other than causing <a title=\"Melbourne Age article\" href=\"http:\/\/www.traveller.com.au\/404.html\" target=\"_blank\">inconvenience to air travellers<\/a>. (All air travel has apparently now been halted in the UK, because the ash damages plane engines but it is so fine it can&#8217;t be seen on radar.)
