Most George Street lanes will be closed around the time the premiere of &#8216;Australia&#8217; screens on Tuesday 18th Nov &#8211; from midnight the night before until 5am the day after (19th Nov).  For further information on the road closure and detours, see the NSW Department of Transport information website.<\/p>\n<p>Sydney is a hard place to impress.  If they&#8217;re closing most of one of their main roads for the film premiere of &#8216;Australia&#8217;, the film producers have done a good job.
