{"id":80,"date":"2009-06-02T12:52:04","date_gmt":"2009-06-02T02:52:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fionalake.com.au\/blog\/?p=80"},"modified":"2015-02-23T16:03:54","modified_gmt":"2015-02-23T06:03:54","slug":"international-federation-of-agricultural-journalists-star-prize","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fionalake.com.au\/blog\/international-federation-of-agricultural-journalists-star-prize\/","title":{"rendered":"International Federation of Agricultural Journalists &#8216;Star&#8217; prize"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year 20 of the 29 member countries of the <a title=\"IFAJ website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ifaj.org\/\">International Federation of Agricultural Journalists<\/a> sent entries to the IFAJ&#8217;s <a title=\"IFAJ star prize information\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ifaj.org\/contests-and-awards\/photo-contest.html\">&#8216;Star&#8217; Prize for Agricultural Photography<\/a>. A record 157 photographs have been entered into the three categories &#8211; Nature, People and Production. As usual, the competition will be judged by three photographers from different countries &#8211; this year &#8211; The Netherlands, Japan and Australia. The category winners and overall winner will be announced at the annual IFAJ congress; to be held this year in Fort Worth, Texas, from 31 July to 4 August. The IFAJ conference will be followed by the US Agricultural Media Summit. The IFAJ photography competition is generously sponsored by <a title=\"DeLaval website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.delaval.com\/\">DeLaval<\/a>, a worldwide dairy industry company, and the agricultural journalism competition is sponsored by <a title=\"John Deere website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.deere.com\/en_US\/deerecom\/usa_canada.html\">John Deere,<\/a> a worldwide agricultural machinery company.
