Exhibition & Events
An exhibition or launch of a book of Australian outback photos is a rare opportunity for people who are specifically interested in the bush, art, books, 'Australiana' and/or agriculture to gather together. If you hear of an approaching exhibition opening or an event such as a book launch, please come, because you'll be sure to enjoy yourself talking with the other like-minded people who attend. There's also a good chance you'll bump into people you already know, too.
As exhibitions are exceedingly time consuming and expensive to hold, it is not usual for me to organise more than one in the same region let alone the same city or town, so it is best to seize the opportunity to visit an exhibition in your local area when it is on. Don't wait for a second one, because it's very unlikely to happen. The same applies regarding attending tradefairs. The only tradefair I am able to make a specific effort to attend regularly, is Rockhampton's Beef Australia event, which is held every 3 years.
