According to the Queensland Country Life newspaper, quoting the Australian Financial Review, there is an ‘offer on the table’ to purchase S Kidman & Co’s Channel Country cattle station, Sandringham. Sandringham is near Bedourie in Queensland’s far west, south of Mt Isa, and it has been owned by S Kidman & Co for 105 years. Respected horseman Geoff Schrader has managed Sandringham for several decades.
Sandringham Station is listed for sale by expressions of interest by 5 June 2009, with John Burke of Elders Rural. Detailed property and sale information can be found on the Elders Rural and on the My Home real estate website.
