Sandringham Station, located between Boulia and Bedourie in far western Queensland, has been bought by Mick and Marie Gibson, for $7.5 million. Geoff and Shirley Schrader, managers of Sandringham for several decades, have been offered a position on Durrie Station by Sandringham sellers, S. Kidman & Co.
The Gibson family are based at Dalby, on the Darling Downs in SE Queensland, but they own other properties in SW Queensland, such as Bulloo Downs at Thargomindah, which they purchased from the Stanbroke aggregation in 2004 for $20 million, and Dynevor Downs between Eulo and Thargomindah.
