Peter Hughes has paid $5m to buy Argadargada Station, located in the central Australia/lower Barkly Tableland region of the Northern Territory, SW of Mt Isa. Argadargada had been put to auction by the Broad family and passed in for $4.7m. Peter Hughes also owns Lake Nash Station which runs along the eastern boundary. Lake Nash was owned in partnership with Bill Scott under the name of Georgina Pastoral Company, until he sold his share to Peter Hughes. Bill Scott’s son is still the manager of Lake Nash.
