Paraway Pastoral Company is the trading name for the Macquarie Pastoral Fund. Set up in 2007, seven properties were apparently purchased in the Riverina district of NSW, including well known Merino sheep studs Pooginook and Stud Park North (near Jerilderie), Steam Plains (between Conargo & Carrathool), mixed sheep & cropping property The Bulls Run (west of Wagga Wagga) and some properties further north, including East Borambil, near Condobolin.
In January 2009 Walhallow (Barkly Tableland NT), Davenport Downs (Diamantina River, Qld) and Armraynald (Qld Gulf Country, near Burketown) were purchased for more than $169 million, from Georgina Pastoral Company.
In February 2009 Qld Gulf country stations Kalmeta, Gregory Downs and Clonagh were purchased from the AACo, for $145.75 million.
Tim Hornibrook is the Division Director, Macquarie Agricultural Funds Management. David Goodfellow is the CEO of Macquarie Pastoral Services.
