Beautiful books of Australian outback images
These unique books 'A Million Acre Masterpiece' and 'Life as an Australian Horseman', beautifully illustrate the life and landscape on Australia's most remote yet most famous cattle stations. Hundreds of photographs are included of outback cattle stations located between Queensland and the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The images are accompanied by interesting captions, and 'A Million Acre Masterpiece' has a glossary of quirky and witty words and expressions used almost exclusively in these regions. 'Life as an Australian Horseman' has a special chapter on bronco branding. Memorable books to hand on to future generations.
It is important to learn about other cultures but everyone should know their own first. What we encounter on television, in theatres, on the radio and in books, magazines and newspapers should encourage pride in Australian culture and accurately record our history.
