This year Quadrant Agtour is running another cattle station tour. This year it runs for 21 days in June-July, and the travellers are escorted by Brian Hill. The cattle stations to be visited include: Alexandria, Brunette Downs, Hayfield, Victoria River Downs, Wave Hill and Melaleuca. Other tour highlights included are: the buffalo programme on Beatrice Hill Farm, Kakadu, Katherine Gorge, Katherine Show, the Australian Brahman Breeders Association dinner, the Durack Homestead (relocated from the bed of Lake Argyle) and into WA to see the Ord River Irrigation Scheme, Geiki Gorge and Broome.
This is the only company I know of taking visitors onto some of Australia’s largest cattle stations.
Quadrant Agtour have run agricultural tours for many years; within Australia and to South America, USA, Canada, Europe and Africa; as well as Asia.
