The new Cattle Council of Australia president

Last November Greg Brown, a cattle producer from Mt Garnet (nth Qld) was elected President of the Cattle Council of Australia. I don’t know Greg, but I do know his son Alistair. Alistair and his wife Nellie run Brown Gully Photography & Framing at Roma, and were responsible for the best-run exhibition that I’ve ever held, in 10 years of exhibiting between Cairns and Melbourne. Absolutely nothing could have been done better – it was as perfect as it ever gets. Not just very personable, generous and hardworking – Alistair and Nellie are also exceedingly smart, unusually thoughtful and extremely efficient. I can’t speak highly enough of them. One presumes these traits run in Alistair’s family, so Greg would seem an excellent choice as CCA President. Judging by comments on other websites, those who know him certainly think so.

So we wish Greg well – and if you’re in Roma, call in to Brown Gully to see Alistair.
